WaterfieldΒΆ

The waterfield is the parameter that specifies the construction of a body of water.

altitude: the only important parameter. It can be adjusted.

The following parameters should not be modified. They do not allow any reliable control over the simulation:

  • map_name: refers to the folder which contains the watermap files. The watermap files are in the same format as the heightmap files. For now, the watermap has to be flat.
  • zones_size: Not used (only here because we reused the code from the heightfield).

For more information on creating a waterfield, please see tutorial included in Heightfield and Heightmaps. The process for creating the waterfield is the same as for a heightfield (creation of map in BW mode, texture assignment, folder grouping).
