The template Editors feature two different types of main toolbars.
The toolbar at the top of the Parcel Editor and Road Editor screens come with the following basic options: + File + Cameras + Modes + Settings + Help
The circular working toolbars are accessible by right clicking inside the workspace. Depending on the Editor elements you are working with and the associated options available, one or more of the following toolbars will appear.
Note that the toolbars are cascading:
Toolbar options will vary according to which elements you are currently working with. For more information on selected elements, please see the guide below.
Add Material: You can add a material from a library of textures using this option. When you click on the option, a materials menu will appear. You will then choose the texture, set its position and scale using the x and y coordinates, its default and local ratios, its orientation and z index, decide whether or not it is clippable, and add a shader tag.
Add Mesh: You can add a mesh from a library of meshes (see Settings). When you click on this option, a meshes menu will appear. You will then choose the mesh, determine its size along the x, y, and z axes, determine its x and y position, determine its scale coefficient, vertical offset, orientation, z index, whether or not it is clippable, its stability plane, and shader tags.
Border Line: Allows you to create a border around the parcel and place your parcels accordingly.
Broadcast: Broadcasts a mesh on a Border Line or Broken Line to other lines according to the pattern you define in the Edit window.
Broken Line: Allows you to place elements on the line but keeps the shape of the line intact. Does not adapt to border.
Connect: Connects the first point of a Broken Line to the last point.
Edit: Opens the edit window where you can adjust geometric configuration and object policies and tags
Filler: This operator defines the probability that a given filler will appear in a simulation.
Parcel Link: Allows you to link to another parcel file.
Point: Places points at different locations on your parcel, allowing you to broadcast meshes
Semantic: Allows you to add semantics and position and scale them.
Sub Parcel: Allows you to add a sub parcel from a file.
Toggle Ghost Mode: Puts the object in wireframe mode
Vertical Line: Allows you to define a sequence of meshes on a vertical pattern
The View Mode in Parcel Editor presents another toolbar with several other options: Expand: Re-instantiates the parcel Warning: Turns red and alerts if Expand does not function Toggle Random Mask: Changes the random state of the mask regeneration Toggle Random Position: Toggles random position generator
With their limited Edit modes, Crossroad and Sector Editor have a slightly different toolbar.
A menu bar with the options File, Edit, and Help is replicated in the icons directly below the toolbar. Opening a specification will load the specification in the left-hand portion of the screen.
Clicking the Refresh button next to the Help icon will display the loaded specification. Clicking the Random Mask feature will toggle the Editor’s random mask feature.
